Social Networking Pros and Cons

That’s true that in the last few years the way we communicate has changed thanks to social
media, but like anything else social networking has its own pros and cons.
I my opinion Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or any social network can be an effective way to
advertise a new business, you can keep in touch with school friends, meet new friends from
somewhere far away or start chatting with family members who live on the other side of the
world. The internet and social media makes it possible to contact anybody. Many other
advantages of social networks are that they can communicate quickly and instantly, you find out
what is happening in the world, and you have access to all the information you want.
However, as you can see you will find many advantages, but you will find disadvantages too, like
privacy issues, too much information, procrastination and distraction. I believe that we can take
advantage of the advantages and disadvantages at a certain point that social networks bring.

In my opinion the social networking are a really good tool that help us in many different ways, as
mentioned before it facilitate the communication with others and make us more easy to find
people that we want or we couldn’t see in much time, also it help us to know new people and in
this way make more friends. In my view other advantage is that social networking can help us to
communicate and express our opinions and feelings of somethings, I must admit that I'm not sure
that it's a good idea in several times.
However as I see it social networking as well as help people who have a business, because they
can us it to offer their products or services so in this way is easier to then sell, as a result we can
find their products more easier too.
By the other hand we can found some disadvantages and some of them can be very dangerous for
us, for example bad people can use our information that we can post to manipulate or fool us, also
how is easy to communicate anything is easy to change the information too, people can
misinterpret the things that you post and consequently to provoke a fight. But I think that it
depends always of the person that is us the social network and the values who have as a person.

In my point of view, having social networks on different devices, such as our cell phones and
computers, has opened doors to the information age. Platforms such as Facebook, Telegram,
Instagram, among others, make the content shared very varied, reflect different points of view
and allow the Internet user to know realities that, on several occasions, are ignored by the
traditional media. On the other hand, networks provide discussion spaces that encourage the
exchange of ideas and contribute to the formation of an informed or uninformed public opinion.
As I see it social media can be such a fun and entertaining way to communicate, catch up, and
keep in touch. Then on the contrary, it's becoming such a political, religious, gossip column that
