You'll be better prepared to handle adverse conditions like boring through certain kinds of rock and other hard, organic material. Plus, the D50x100a delivers up to 50,000 lbs. (22,680 kg) of pullback power to handle larger- diameter pipe and longer-distance applications such as sewer projects and riverbed crossings. The D50x100a offers quick, convenient setup and an efficient use of hydrostatic components. The self-contained design includes power plant, rod box and an integral drilling-fluid pump (rated at 135 gpm [511 Lpm)) capable of powering a down-hole mud motor. l's self-propelled for efficient loading, unload- ing and job-site access. There's no need to waste time and effort dragging out hydraulic hoses; connect the drilling tluid and strike alert systems, and you are ready to bore. Save time and money An automated rod-loading system means on-the-job convenience and efficiency. The operator engages the loader without leaving the operator seat, and the rod is mechanically loaded, saving extra labor costs.
