IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOGA PARTICIPANTS
1. YOGA should be done on empty stomach or at least gap of 3 to 4 hours
after your meal.
2. Clothing should be in accordance with yoga. Wear loose and comfortable
clothes. Like Cotton Kurta Payjama for both males and females.
3. Do not wear spectacles or loose ornaments. They may get damaged and
may also cause injuries. Remove contact lenses & glasses during yoga.
4. Empty the bladder before practice.
5. For females - Don’t practice yoga during menstrual periods.
6. Do yoga with full concentration.
7. One should remain silent while practicing asanas, keep awareness on
breathing pattern and on the parts of body. This will enhance the benefits.
8. If one is suffering from fever or complicated diseases one should not
practice asanas.
9. Women should not practice during pregnancy and during menstruation. It
is better to take proper guidance before starting asanas.
10. The total duration of yoga may be one hour to one and a half hour.
