2. Please be informed that on Friday, September 3, 2024, at approximately
7:00 pm, a report was received by this office regarding an alleged shooting
incident. The incident occurred at Block 11, Lot-9, Gaya-Gaya Verde Heights,
CSJDM Bulacan. The victim has been identified as Alhazen Haytham, 32
years old, married, and a resident of the same area. The victim was
reportedly struck by a gunshot fired by an unidentified suspect. Subsequent
investigation led to the identification of a witness and the suspect.
According to the witness, Daniel V. Barbaro, he observed his neighbor
discharging a firearm from his window and later heard a gunshot nearby.
3. The suspect has been identified as Cody G. Harp 43 years old, jobless, and a
resident of Blk 23 Lot 28, Area D, Gaya-Gaya Verde Heights, CSJDM Bulacan.
The suspect claims that the shooting was not intended to target the victim
but was merely an attempt to discharge his .45 caliber pistol. Ongoing
investigation is being conducted by this station with the assistance of our
ballistics expert to gather further information regarding the incident. Any
relevant details pertaining to this case will be promptly communicated to
your office as soon as they become available.
