For many time gender equalities has been a social and cultural issue which affect many women around the world in different work fields. For the aviation field, there is a lot of stereotypes that do not let women being an important part of the aviation industry, but over the years these stereotypes almost disappeared. Nevertheless, there are still people who think that women should not be in the aviation field which is unfair and uncivilized, we are living in a new era with the same opportunities for everyone without gender discrimination. One of the most critical stereotypes in aviation is that women are physically not as strong as a man and fewer competent which involves a lot of comments such as; "they cannot do the same work as a man". This kind of comment can affect psychologically the mind of the women, when this statement is not true, because in different areas and also studies show that the women can do the task as a man, in the same conditions without any problem. Over the years we could see that the women are strong enough and also with big capacities to develop the important task. Gender equality is important and nowadays this equality being stronger and more remarkable and should be increasing in all work fields and provide the same opportunities for every gender. These issues take away opportunities to the women frustrating their dreams and goals. Also, the avionic industry could take away the probability to get a new idea or a new technological advance.
