This is a model that depicts human behavior to illustrate why people behave in a certain kind of way considering the genetic and memetic endowments along with the nurtured tendencies factors, to comprehend the actions of others and lead them better. What are events? Events are happenings. Observation is description of what we see and Perception is a subset of what we observe.

Summary Event + VABE Conclusion Emotions Behaviour The conclusion of any event that we make is due to the inherent comparison that we make with our VABEs. This conclusion can be: Internal : Projecting observations on one’s own self-image. External: Assuming conclusions about others based on observations. REB model needs to be modified with addition of VABE in the equation

  • (^) Conclusions leave us with emotions and feelings which are either positive or negative.
  • (^) Behavior is another result that results with comparison with VABEs.
  • (^) Note: Majority of people aren’t aware of their VABE equation.
