This website lists press releases on Georgia schools such as one listed on Gwinnett county schools
working toward more control of their school as a result of more accountability to the Governor’s
Office of Student Achievement.

This website lists information of hate groups and details on tolerance education programs.

This webpage has tons of different games, homework assignments, lesson plans, and technology
integration resources to help teachers keep things interesting in their classrooms.

This organization is a nonprofit group that puts on a “Challenge Day” for schools to help teach
students about embracing and celebrating diversity.
7. www.teacherplanet.com
On this site, I found a lot of rubrics, lesson plans, and other schools’ websites to get ideas from.

This is Google for teachers! You do not have to worry about searching on a general search engine;
this one filters for information especially for teachers.

This is for high school anatomy teachers and has sample lessons, printable worksheets, etc.

This site has different programs and site listings for use of technology in the classroom such as

  6. http://bensguide.gpo.gov/ This is a cute little site for government education in younger grades.
  7. www.whitehouse.gov This website is self-explanatory. Every student should be aware of their own U.S. government.
  8. www.sciencedaily.com This site has published results of studies done in the area of health and fitness. It is especially beneficial to me being that my class is an Anatomy & Physiology class.

  12. http://teachers.net/ This site offers a huge message board and allows you to chat with other teachers so that you might share your ideas with anyone around the world.
  13. http://www.learner.org/ This site offers videos for your lessons and is divided into levels and subjects.
