Aim: To find the Mesh current and Nodal Voltage for the given circuit using OrCad capture CIS

and validate these values with analytical calculation.

OrCad schematic diagram:

Procedure:

  1. Open OrCAD Capture CIS Lite
  2. Create a new project (File→New→project)
  3. Enter the name of the project
  4. Select "Analog Or Mixed-AD"
  5. Click OK button
  6. Create a Blank Project as given below
  7. Open place in the top menu and click the part and get the parts (VDC, R) from orcad library as per the requirements table.
  8. Arrange the components according to the given circuit and Join the components with wire which is available at place in the top menu
  9. click the GND in the Right corner menu part and attached with the circuit.
  10. Open PSpice in the top menu , select Create Netlist.
  11. Open PSpice in the top menu , select New Simulation and create it.
  12. set the simulation profile settings as given below:

13. Run the simulation and obtain the simulation results as needed.
