(usually 5 weeks out unless emergency) Power Cell inserts, Stretches Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Toe Pain: With or without Trauma/ Ingrown/infected, without fracture **** Refer to foot and ankle. (usually 5 weeks out unless emergency) Meds: Bactrim vs Clindamycin Removal of toenail as indicated. Ankle/Foot Stress Fracture: F/U 1-2 weeks. Boot vs Post op shoe vs Protective Footwear NWB if severe or painful. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Knee/Leg: Adolescent Anterior Knee pain without injury. F/U 2-3 weeks. Stop activities that causes pain? PT, Meds: NSAIDS Knee Injuries/Derangement. F/U post MRI. MRI, Brace, Crutches, NWB Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Knee Pain – OA per x-ray F/U 1-3 weeks.

Hip Bursitis: F/U 2 weeks Stretches vs PT Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Hip Strains/Pointers: F/U 1-3 weeks depending on severity. RICE, Ice first 72 hours, Warm moist hear 72 hours after injury, Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol, other medications. Hip OA (per x-ray): F/U 1-2 weeks Alternate Ice with warm moist heat. Meds: NSAIDS, Medrol, IM injections. Hand and Wrist Forearm Fracture: F/U 1 week. Splint, sling, ice. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Boutonniere’s Deformity: F/U 2-3 weeks Splint, NSAIDS, Medrol Carpal Tunnel: F/U 1-3 weeks Splint, Stretches Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol. De Quervain’s: F/U 1-3 weeks. Splint, Stretches. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol. Dupuytren's: F/U 1-3 weeks. Splint, Stretches. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, medications. Finger Fractures: F/U 1 week.

Splint, Support Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Fingertip Injuries (with possible tip amputation): ASAP No Dr. To ER. Clean, Dress and splint if needed Meds: Flexor Tendon Injuries: Refer ASAP If simple laceration repair, Splint. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Tetanus if laceration. Frost Bite: (Presented with acute pain to hands or feet). New onset with bulla? Clean and dress, Silvadene, Tetanus, Pain Medications, Wound Center. Ganglion Cyst: Hand or wrist: F/U 1-2 weeks. Immobilize/splint if pain is present. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol. Fractures Nondisplaced: (phalanges, metacarpals, hand bones) F/U 1 week Splint, Sling Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Possible pain medications. Bites: Human or animal: F/U PCP, Will need labs: HIV, Hep and Tetanus. Clean, Dress, repair if needed, Antibiotics (appropriate for each type of bite). Mallet Finger: F/U 2 weeks. Splint, support. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, other medications. Nerve Injuries (possible): F/U ASAP Temporary splints if painful. Meds: NSAIDS, Medrol, ??? Neurontin. Thumb Sprain: F/U 1-3 weeks.

Adults Splint, sling. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Possible pain medications. Kids Cast vs Splint with sling. OTC meds. Olecranon bursitis: F/U 1 week. Support, sling Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. *** ???? Large bursa Sac? Olecranon Fracture: F/U 5-7 days. Splint, Sling, Support Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Elbow Dislocation: F/U ASAP Sling Throwing Injuries: F/U 1-2 week. Sling, Stretches Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol, other medications. Forearm Fracture in Children: F/U 3-5 days. Splint vs Cast, sling Medial/Lateral Epicondylitis: F/U 2-3 weeks Brace, Stretches Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol medications. Shoulder: OA per x-ray: F/U 1-3 weeks. Stretches vs PT, Warm moist heat with ice pack bid Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Medrol, Voltarn Gel, (Glucosamine & Chondroitin).

Clavicle Fracture: F/U 1 week. (if displaced ASAP) Brace placement, Sling Meds: NSAIDS. Shoulder: Any possible derangement, tears, impingement, or instability. F/U after MRI MRI, Sling Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Shoulder Sprain or Frozen Shoulder: F/U 1-2 weeks. Sling, Stretches Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS. Scapular Fracture: F/U ASAP Sling, Support Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Possible pain medications. Dislocation: F/U ASAP Support, sling Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Possible pain medications. Shoulder Separation AC Joint: F/U 1 week. Sling Support. Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Possible pain medications. Back and Neck: Lower back pain without radiculopathy: F/U with Scholl, Washburn, Spearing in 3-4 weeks. Stretches, exercises Meds: IM injections, NSAIDS, Muscle relaxer Medrol.
