Self- Introduction in a forum

  1. Greeting (good morning/afternoon/evening)
  2. Say “Allow me to introduce myself. My name is…. “
  3. State your identity (and intention if any) (who you are and why you are here) For example: I’m from English department. I am the new secretary of this organization.
  4. Close it by saying “It’s nice to meet you all” or any other similar expressions. Introducing Others
  5. Greetings
  6. The expression used in formal situation: I would like you to meet my friend, (say your friend’s name) /I would like to introduce you to my friend, (your friend’s name). In informal way, you don’t need to use this expression.
