Focus Child Part 3:Laws & Regulations
I was doing some research and came across Laws and Regulations for children who have
Autism this was on the Colorado Department of Education, this website gave more insight
and also info on what parents can do and how individuals in Early Childhood can support
students and families. Colorado Department of Education had a lot to go through towards
the bottom of the page there was mention of those who have disabilities and how they are
being treated which is important when teaching children or individuals who have
disabilities. There were so many more websites that had good information but I always tend
to go to either the CDC or the Colorado Department of Education, not only do they have
information that expands ok but collaboration from outside but trusted sources, and they
even have information that can be useful for parents needing support or looking for services
for their child. There are also pictures and diagrams usually that show how these services
work and how there support with going this route also.
