[Last Name] 2 I would make sure that the child’s food is cut up and make sure that the utensils are useful for the child to eat breakfast safely and drink milk or water safely. Make sure that the class is wheelchair accessible especially when being able to maneuver around the class without any complications. I would like to make sure that I have knowledge in understanding the child even though I’m the teacher I need to learn that child’s social cues also. Making my room open, having the rugs tapped down so that way if I do have children or child are able to move around without any problems or getting the wheel caught in the end of the rug. Moving the centers around so that it’s fully functional for everyone in the class. Having materials that are accessible so that way the child is included. Having an allergy list somewhere with a colors of the folder that stand out and each child of they have an allergy it says what the child is allergic to. If the child has to be given medication make sure this is locked away so none of the children can access this, usually this is with a nurse or with the director. Having safety locks on my cabinets. Making sure that the parents bring in things that will help calm their child.
