Irina Cabral English Studies, Group 110 The Day Lady Died In this poem, it is described the ordinary routine and movements of a poet living in New York City. Throughout the text, we identify that the first four stanzas are narrated in chrological time. Continuing with that, we can see this because the time is passing and the poet narrate his movements in a lineal time. Apart of that, in the last stanza the plot of the story takes another patch and it started to be narrated in an anachrony way. In the fifth stanza the poet place himself in the past, he had a flashback in which he remembered a time when his dearest friend was alive. On the contratry, we can also identify an instance of frequency alteration through the poem,
