Strengths Conversation Case Study
Subject: Human Resources, Institute: University of California
Clifton Strengths: Clifton Strengths assessment is conducted by Gallup Inc which is renowned
research company. It helps examinees understand their strengths and how uniquely they are
powerful. It ranks an individual on important parameters of professional strength.
My Signature Themes: The themes in my assessment are Strategic, Futuristic, Competition,
Ideations and Individualism.
Being Strategic means knowing “what if” and having alternate courses of work. I do
think I am strategic, and it can help me in making important career and professional
decisions.
Being Futuristic means planning for a better future. I do plan out my studies and I do
think such habit can help me in long run.
Being Competitive means setting others performance as a benchmark to improve own
performance. I am currently not paying much attention to other individual performances,
but I do think such approach can be helpful for me in competitive market.
The strength of ideation is to come up with unique ideas to resolve problems. I do think I
am creative, and it can help me achieve my entrepreneurial goals.
Individualism is about developing oneself as an individual and taking responsibility. I do
believe in individualism and think that taking responsibility is part of any professional
life.

Strengths Conversation Case Study Subject: Human Resources, Institute: University of California Clifton Strengths: Clifton Strengths assessment is conducted by Gallup Inc which is renowned research company. It helps examinees understand their strengths and how uniquely they are powerful. It ranks an individual on important parameters of professional strength. STRENGTH CONVERSATION 2

What should be my focus area for improvement? Which is my biggest strength according to theme? On which theme I score poorly. Date, Time & Person: I did have a conversation on 2nd^ November between 8.07 pm to 8.50 pm with my father on the themes and questions shared by me. Brief Conversation : My father did not think that I am strategic or futuristic though he did complement me to be strong on ideation and Individualism. He did find me not being highly competitive or being highly competitive. He did ask me to read more books to become strategic while according to him planning can help in being future thinker. My Opinion on Conversation: I did feel that taking opinion of someone can help in having a better view of self. The other person was and could give unbiased opinion compared to self. Key Insights: 1. The Clifton Assessment did provide me opinion on important parameters. These themes or parameters can help greatly in professional development.
