About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Actuarial Analytics team. This team is
responsible for designing, developing and analyzing performance of our value-based
care contracts with payers and providers. We work closely with other teams across the
company, including sales, client success, operations and technology. We need a self-
starting and adaptable team member who will thrive in a high growth, all-hands-on-deck
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the chief actuary, support and lead the design, building and
maintenance of models for contracting parameters, solution
opportunity/savings, downstream practice reimbursement and other predictive
models
Lead coordination with Wildflower’s claims analytics vendor on receiving,
processing and analyzing client/prospect data
Support the sales team in ad hoc analyses
Support the operations team in analyses of patient outcomes and reporting and
dashboard needs

Box 7336 • Cotati, CA 94 931 ● Coordinate data analyses across all WFH data sources, including claims/eligibility data, data from the WFH platform (health advocacy, app data, monitoring, survey), clinical data from practices (including EHR), or other sources ● Design, build and run processes for client pricing ● Coordinate with our external actuarial firm for assistance as needed Ideal Candidate ● 5 - 10 years of experience working in a project-based environment ● Expertise in health care claims and eligibility data analysis and modeling ● Advanced programming acumen in R, Python or other relevant languages ● Advanced expertise in Excel ● Ability to turn data into information and information in a story ● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for distilling complex findings into actionable recommendations ● Knowledge of health care predictive models ● Team player that's excited to join a growing start-up ● Passionate about improving health outcomes for women and their families Preferred Qualifications ● Actuarial experience and credentials (ASA or FSA), or close to achieving credentials ● Experience with Tableau, or similar business intelligence software ● Experience working with types of data beyond claims, including electronic health record data, eligibility data, mobile app usage data ● Experience with data warehouses ● Powerpoint or other presentation deck skills ● Consulting and client-facing experience Location This is a remote position.
