Dear Parent/Student;
Hello Pirate! As we continue at home, my hope is that all is well. Let’s continue to stay
positive and responsible with your educational goals during this difficult time
As you know, I am always seeking to help you in any way I can with regard to your social and
emotional well-being. Part of your IEP (Individual Education Plan) involves ongoing counseling
goals to help you succeed in your everyday educational and general life success.
It is my privilege to have the opportunity to provide you with continuing support during this
time of change and challenges due to our current situation.
I will be contacting you throughout this time (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) depending on the
goals we have set out for you in your educational plan. We will meet for 20 or 30 minutes via
computer or telephone, to continue with providing you with counseling support.
I will continue to make contact by telephone with your parent(s) to make arrangements on
dates and times. Thank you for your time and patience with this important matter.
I am attaching additional worksheets that you can use at your convenience and we will also be
able to work with during our counseling session (telephone or computer).
Sincerely,
Amando Gonzalez, LPC-S
