He was also accused of tax evasion by the Chinese government. His art concerning social issues kept proving the Chinese government.
Banksy - “He has been criticized by authority figures, like private property owners, local council authorities, the police, and the mayor.” Some
criticized him for copying other artists' works.

Ai Weiwei recently used the tools provided by social media, like Twitter and YouTube, for his activist project and artwork and to reach a global audience. He can also do it freely in his country, where it is continuously monitored. He combines traditional and Western concepts to share his art and activist message.
Banksy joined Instagram late to share his project and artwork. However, he could have been more focused on social media; he expresses his project through art through his ever-pertinent imagery.
