In the world of middle school, there are social
groups and cliques. A social group is usually
composed of a large group of diverse kids.
When I say diverse I mean different types
of kids with a mixture of different talents. In
a social group, everyone has a place and
feels that they belong.
A clique is usually a smaller group of kids that are mostly composed of one type of kid. For example a cliques may only consist of all nerds while other cliques are only composed of jocks. Cliques can also be secretive and can talk about people behind their back.
Social Groups are usually known as a group of people interacting and share similar characteristics. There are many different types of social groups. Inside each social group can be a mixture of nerds, girly girls, tomboys, jocks, and popular kids.
“Within each social group, a feeling of solidarity prevails, a compelling need to work together and a joy in doing so that represents a high moral value.”
