The steps to take when dealing with an unconscious person, whether an adult, child, or infant. The process includes checking the scene, assessing the victim's consciousness, calling for help, performing rescue breathing, and starting chest compressions. In the case of an aed, instructions for use are provided. Both adult/child and infant-specific procedures.
