Ch 1 – Svidrigailov’s request to stop marriage between Donya and Luzhin
Ch 2 – Raskolnikov and Razumihin meet with Porfiry and Donya
Ch 3 - Raskolnikov leaves his family, Razumihin understands that Raskolnikov is
guilty.
Ch 4 – Raskolnikov talks with Sonia about religion and the story of Lazarus, Ras
finds out Sonia and Lizaveta were friends

Ch 6 – Milkolka confesses to the murder
Part 5:
Ch 1 – Luzhin goes to talk to Sonia
Ch2 - Marmaledov’s funeral, the crazy step-mom gets in a fight
Ch 3 – Luzhin accuses Sonia of stealing 100 roubles. Raskolnikov clears her name.
Ch 4 – Ras confesses to Sonia that he killed the pawnbroker and her sister. Claims he
isn’t an extraordinary man, Sonia’s path of confessing and suffering to get
redemption
Ch 5 – Lebeziatnikov tells them Katerina is out of her mind, Ras goes to see Donya in
his old room and consents to her marriage with Razumikhin, Svid gives money to
funeral of Katerina and the young kids.
Part 6:
Ch 1 – Funeral for Katerina, Razumihkin scolds Raskolnikov, Raz believes Milkula’s
confession
Ch 2 – Ras and Porfiry talk, Porfiry accuses Ras of the murder, Ras denies it. Advises
him to come out and take Sonia’s path
Ch 3 – Rushes to Svidrigailov, finds him at the crossroads, threatens to kill Svid, sees
Svid as worthless.
Ch 4 – Svid talks about his contract with Marfa and his experiences with Donia, tells
Ras he evesdrops on his conversations with Sonia
Ch 5 – Ras follows Svid and sees his true evil nature, Katerina’s kids going into an
asylum, Svid using Ras’s confession to Sonia as a way to talk to Donya, Svid tells
