Riddles
What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?
……………………………………………………………..
I have holes in my top and bottom, right and left and in the middle. But I can
still hold water, what am I?
…………………………………………………………………..
Give me food and I will live. Give me water and I will die.
What am I?
………………………………………………………………….
What belongs to you but others use it more than you do? What am I?
………………………………………………………………..
You answer me, although I never ask you questions. What am I?
……………………………………………………………….
What can you hold without using your hands or ever touching it? What am I?
……………………………………………………………..
Animal Riddles
I come out at night and sleep in the day.
My eyes do not work very well so I rely on my sense of smell.
You might see me scurrying across the road in the dark.
When I am in danger I curl up into a ball.
My whole body is covered in thousands of spines.
What am I?
In darkness I like to hunt.
Youll find me in a quiet old, abandon barn somewhere quiet, I dont like noise.
My eyes are small and I cannot see well, so I use my super hearing to help me
find my prey.
Moths, insects and fruit are all things I love to eat.
I have two wings, theyre black and delicate and wrapped around my body while
I hang upside down.
What am I?
