The main purpose of this essay is to reflect all the tasks of Undergraduate Project which have been completed and the task which are still yet to complete. Proposal and ethics form along with contextual report for my project “Digitalization of Homestay Service in Nepal” already has been complete whereas the development part of the system will be completed in this semester only. This essay reflects all the tasks of Undergraduate Project which have been completed and remaining task which are incomplete and are in progress. The Proposal and ethics form along with contextual report of my project “ONLINE DOCTOR APPOINTMNET SYSTEM” has already been completed and submitted whereas the development part of the software and the final report part will be completed by this semester. Health Care is fast growing industry in Nepal. Better health is the key to happiness and well-being. Healthy people live longer, are more productive as well as helps in economic progress. Many factors influence health status and a country's ability to provide quality health services for its people. Normally, if a doctor wants to see his/her patient, he/she must assign him/her in a room, get an appointment, give it to his/her patient in sequence. This method is coordinated with online service doctor appointments so doctors simply get digital visits, easily look after patient disease activities, and easily consult with patients. For the doctor and the patient, Online Doctor Appointment would be a great forum. Your doctor will easily open your account, change your account, and uninstall your account. The doctor will be able to upgrade their visitation system. They can quickly report their visit and can see reviews of their patient's illness. They can quickly share their feelings on their own issues. Doctor should update their hour of therapy, measure the success of their patient, add patient and take thinking. Offer feedback on the application's results. Online doctor appointments would be an enormous forum for patients. The patient can easily discover their appointed recorded schedule. The patient will quickly see the application for approval of the appointment, accept the appointment or refuse the appointment. Their own abilities can be judged by having self-quality in online doctor appointments. Patients will look at doctor assessment, doctor visiting hours, note board, service shared by the doctor and patient reviews from their doctor. Hence, project main aim is to build a simple user-friendly web application where doctors and patient can register and patient are able to take doctor appointment through online without any queue or visitation in hospitals. 2) Self-Management Ayush Malla (Level 6)

In order to complete certain task or project in due time without wastage of manpower, energy, cost and increasing productivity and efficiency in the project, self-management skills plays a vital role. Without self-management skills, it will be difficult to complete the task in required time as the project itself gets messier as problem arises. So to run a project effectively and productively, self- management skill is important. As for my project, I have used different self-management skills which I found helpful for my productivity and efficiency for solving problem faced while doing project which are mentioned below. 2.1) Self-Motivation This main source of motivation that kept me pushing to do the project is myself. The project which I am currently working on is not only the Undergraduate project for me, it is the project which I dreamed on doing. As it helps to solve real time problem people are facing in nowadays. People still are going to hospital waking up in the morning and waiting in the queue for the taking appointment with doctor more than hour and then again waiting in the queue for doctor to checkup which find really problematic in today’s world. This problem kept me motivated to do something to solve the problem and therefore, I came with a solution of taking offline appointment system to online appointment system which will help to solve a long queue waiting problem and patient can easily select respective doctor for taking appointment by seating at home. The next thing that motivated me to do the project is the deadline of the project as the time is limited for the project, it is needed to be completed in time to obtain good results. Also it helps to enhance my skills and knowledge. 2.2) Proactiveness The deadline is provided in the Undergraduate project and the project is needed to complete within the deadline to secure a good marks as well graduate. To meet the deadline, I worked on planning, time management and development of the project. For my project to run smoothly, I discussed with my supervisor and received feedback accordingly. With the help of supervisor, a plan was made to work on developing the system along with the report part of the project. With the supervisor help, I was able to save a lot of time as while in developing phase, I faced some problems which was quickly solved with a small discussion with the supervisor. I have been regularly consulting with the supervisor getting feedbacks, solving problems and getting progress in the project smoothly. Ayush Malla (Level 6)

3) Communication and Quality Communication skill is one of the important inter-personal skill which is required for this project. Without this skill, the completion of the previous contextual report and presentation in between the semester would have been very challenging. I have demonstrated my communication skill in different stages of my project like explain my project to the teachers for topic selection as well as giving presentation about the progress of my project and so on. Likewise, Listening skill is another skill that helped me in improving the quality of my project as it helped me to take in account of the teachers explaining on the project pattern which needed to be followed and giving advises and suggestion helping in creating a good project. In term of quality, communication with the supervisor regarding the development of my project is regularly updated in the weekly basis in supervisor session and feedback provided by the supervisor helped me in developing project effectively and smoothly. 3.1) Presentation In the presentation, communication skill plays a vital role as with its help, interacting with teachers, audience and making them understand about the project I am working on makes really easier. During presentation, I have used both the verbal as well as non-verbal communication as per required to make the audience understand and make the presentation interesting and interactive. I have provided detail structure of my project as well as development part to my supervisor in verbal as well as non-verbal way. Since it is an individual project, communication and presentation were done with my supervisor and my teachers only. 3.2) Structure Supervisor plays a vital role in keeping my project in structure. As I provided all the detail structure of my project as well as development part of my project, they were always ready to look on my project and provide new ideas or help overcoming the problem I have been facing and so on. Meeting with my supervisor helps me to get new ideas on how to my project can be made more user friendly, useful and how can I achieve my goal. Various problems arise while doing project which makes me worry but with the small discussion with supervisor, they help me to find a solution to the problem and help to develop project smoothly without worrying. With my supervisor help about how to write reports, do research regarding the project topics and many more, I was able to complete my previous proposals, contextual Ayush Malla (Level 6)

report without any obstacles. I regularly had supervisor meeting on weekly basis showing my progress, discussing about the upcoming plans and ideas to solve problem. 3.3) Flow of the document The reflective report of online doctor appointment system will be structured in the following format: 3.3.1 Introduction: - The Introduction part contain the overall presentation of the theme and will examine how the task is overseen inside the timetable and what is the current status of the project. 3.3.2 Self-Motivation: - Self-Motivation is the second portion of the reflective study. This segment provides a general discussion of how motivation to work on the project is obtained, how actively work is done, time management, and performance improvement, as well as input from supervisors and mentors. 3.3.3 Communication and Quality: - While doing this project it is necessary to demonstrate interpersonal skills and communication skills at different stages. This part of the report describes the use of communication skills, presentation skills, discussion with supervisor and how the communication with supervisors and mentor is made to run the project smoothly. 3.3.4 Reflection: - This part of the project describes overall reflection on the project. This part of the report includes the current situation of the project, predictive project plan and the actual project plan, future work done on the project, design and development of the project an overall details thesis structure of contextual report. 3.3.5 Conclusion The contents in the conclusion reflects the overall summary of the project concluding the work done and the changes made while developing the project. 3.4) Depth Knowledge After the fulfillment of this project, I will learn different new things and accomplish various advantages. The examination of the project assisted me with understanding the ability of reasoning and increment or persuade me on doing research. Aside from doing explore, as of Ayush Malla (Level 6)

doing research, I was finding difficult in finding research papers related to my topic but with my supervisor support, I was able to collect the research paper as required for the report and was able to give critical analysis. The questionnaire was prepared with the help of supervisor using google form. After collecting data and analyzing it and writing in the report, it was sent to the supervisor for the feedback. As per the supervisor feedback, I made some changes which later was accepted. Thus, I was able to complete my contextual report. After the complementation on my report, the guidance provided by the teacher and my supervisor helped me enhance my knowledge and skills that can be used while working on other similar project in the future. As I have already mentioned, I started working on my project from day first. I attain meeting with my supervisor on weekly basis discussing about what improvement needed to be done on the system. The supervisor suggested me to work on the back-end part as it is the main part of the application where logic is implemented. 5) Detailed Thesis Contents Thesis report is equally as important as development part for the successful completion of the project. Brief thesis contents are as follows: Following are the contents of thesis with their brief 5.1 Introduction The introduction part covers the background information required for the user to comprehend the report. In simple words introduction states what the report is about. 5.2 Literature Review The literature review part covers all the research required for the system. It includes all written overview of essential writings and other related sources on the topic. In this part, it covers the research papers or journals related to the topic as well as similar application existed. 5.3 System Design The system design part covers all the designs required for system which includes UML diagrams, User interface design, Use case diagrams and database design etc. 5.4 Development & testing The development and testing part covers all the technique and procedures used for system development along with different testing methodology. 5.5 Results The Results part covers all the outcomes obtained from testing of the system. 5.6 Evaluation This part covers the evaluation and monitoring of the system. Evaluation is used for the improvement in the system and proper decision making. It defines how I monitored and evaluated my system 5.7 Conclusion The conclusion part covers the overall idea of the project. Ayush Malla (Level 6)

6) Conclusion To summarize, while progress is continuing, there are still many things to be done that will cause errors in the coming days, so I'll try to minimize any obstacle in front of me with the help of my supervisor and complete the project within the time frame set. As mentioned above, for the development part agile methodology will be used. I'll do my best to meet all of the goals outlined in my research report. For the quality assurance of my project, different testing will be performed to get the best result. I will try to develop a simple user-friendly web application which is easy to understand and use for my users. APPENDIX Gant Chart The Gantt chart is extremely useful for project planning and scheduling. It is important to create a new Gantt chart before beginning this project in order for it to reach the actual deadline. The strategy devised earlier in the semester proved to be accurate. While in this semester, I estimated the production time, so I had to make a new strategy to reach the actual deadline.
