Kids would be a key population because although women were the main population, kids would
be the ones most likely to be eating the pizza after it was cooked.
Contacting an entire population would be difficult because there are too many people in the US to contact
about a new product. Instead, women were selected because they would be the ones most likely to be
making dinner for themselves, kids or families.
Kraft used the data from the sample of women to predict how the entire nation would respond to this new
type of frozen pizza. Descriptive statistics that could be used would be like overall sales of carry-out
places or fast food places in the US, to measure how often people would go pick up their food rather than
