A. Read pages 3-6 in your textbook. Study examples 1-7 odd on pages 6 & 7. B. Work examples 2-8 even on pages 6 & 7 and check your results. C. Assignment One: Do problems 2-14 even, 18-30 even, 34 and 36 in Exercise 1, Objective A, pages 13-15. For problems 2-6 even, decide if the angle is acute or obtuse, estimate the measure of the angle and then measure each angle with a protractor.

A. Read pages 8-10in your textbook. Study examples 9, 11 on page 10. B. Work examples 10, 12 on page 10 and check your results. C. Assignment Two: Do problems 38-48 even in Exercise 1, Objective B, pages 15 & 16.
Assignment Three: Problems Involving the Angles of a Triangle
A. Read page 11 in your textbook. Study examples 13 & 15. B. Work examples 14 & 16 and check your results. C. Assignment Three: Do problems 50-58 even and 62 in Exercise 1, Objective C, pages 17 & 18.
Review Assignment: Do the module one review assignment available in the math learning center and submit it to an instructor for grading.
Module Test: After successfully completing the three assignments and the review assignment, ask an instructor for a module one test.
Writing Assignment: Using ideas developed in problem #65 on page 18, write a formal proof with statements and reasons to show the sum of the interior angles of a triangle always total 180 degrees. This proof is to be well organized and neatly presented. This paper is due before the module three test is taken.
