Over the semester, we have discussed and practiced research processes while together
looking at three common texts: Nickel and Dimed, Fast Food Nation, and Bowling for
Columbine. Each had a distinct approach to the research process, which was important to
our discussion of them. In an essay of 500-750 words (2-3 typed pages), please give an
overview of your own research process. Discuss the (1) purpose, (2) process, and (3)
methods involved in writing your own research paper. Then compare and contrast what/
how you wrote with the three models.
