BIGCAS, Allen Nathaniel A. February 3, 2021 AB – Philosophy 2 Mr. Edwin E. Caballes Answer the following questions:
1. What is sports? Answer: an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc. Sports includes all forms of competitive physical activity or games which, through casual or organized participation, at least in part aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing enjoyment to participants, and in some cases, entertainment for spectators. Sports can bring positive results to one's physical health. Hundreds of sports exist, from those between single contestants, through to those with hundreds of simultaneous participants, either in teams or competing as individuals.
ه This division is based on the environment where the sport is performed, e.g. stadium sports, court games, water sports, etc.
