Duties of the Scaffold Competent person - ✔✔A competent person is required to supervise the erection, modification, and disassembly of scaffolds Fall Protection- Scaffold - ✔✔Crossbraces may be used as a toprail or midrail, but not as both. Chutes - ✔✔Chutes at an angle of more than 45 degree from the horizontal must be entirely enclosed except for openings equipped with closures at floor level for the insertion of materials.
