ABRUPTIO PLACENTA A The premature separation of placenta from the uterus and typically presents with bleeding, uterine contractions, and fetal distress. Puts mother and fetus in serious danger if left untreated. RUPTURE (ECTOPIC/UTERINE) Ruptured ectopic pregnancy often results in internal bleeding and intense abdominal pain.
