Part 1- Adolescence: Parent generally feel challenges to deal with their children when their children are growing and stepping into adolescence as this stage parent does not understand whether they need to give their children space or interfere as the differences in this period of development bring a lot of change in an individual. Int this stage of time it is very important to keep patient with their children because nurturing teenagers’ identity development is a crucial part and essential part of development where they understand themself and get a sense of their role in society. I will advise parents in this stage to be with their children and guide them their role being human beings and how they need to serve their role being as individuals, always set a good example in front of your children being a parent as children learn what you do first then they modify it accordingly, that is why if being a parent you playing a role as you want to be your child he will do the same. Always try to deal with your teenage child politely and patiently as a parent instead of shouting and nagging them all the time. Most important of all is development is starting from the day a mother realizes the presence of her baby that is why being a parent it is important to check the development from the initial stage because this can only help a teenager understand their identity role. Teenagers are constantly developing physically and psychologically and they need some guidance to determine their identity without any disturbance. School is also called a “second home” for students because they spend almost all day in school. The main goal of the school is to educate the students but when we say “educate” we are not only referring to subjects such as biology or math, we also refer to educating the way how they perceive the world around them. Identity is a serious aspect of each individual that has to be improved with the help of school and parents. Teachers are able to stimulate the identity of each student with a variety of practices. For example, teachers should promote the free opinion of the classroom. When students feel free to express what they are thinking, they will be able to develop their reasoning and discover what they like or do not. Additionally, teachers need to make some vocational activities to help students to decide their futures. However, the teacher is not the only one who has to participate in this process, the school can also participate by providing some vocational courses or psychology services that are going to help the students to express and discover themselves.
Part 2- Early Adulthood a) Answer the below “contract” questions: This agreement is made between Mr.X hereafter referred to as Husband and Mrs. Y hereafter referred to as a wife. Here we both mutually agree on the following matters. We both like to live together even if we are working in different places. If anyone has to get a shift due to their job requirement, it is allowed and should maintain the relationship and daily contact via telephone calls. If one is interested in higher studies, it is allowed, and one should appreciate that decision. Each individual is free to keep their own personal savings account, but every month both should contribute a reasonable amount to the mutual savings account ( if one lost his or her job, this is not applicable). We will think about having a child when Mr.X will have 30 years old and will look for three children. For children’s educational purposes funds will be taken from the mutual accounts and will take students’ loans. If we come across any conflicts in life, we will not allow a third party to involve in them and we will solve them by ourselves by mutual discussion. Mr.X Mrs.Y ( Signature ) ( Signature ) Date Place b) After the “contract” is completed, briefly discuss your experience. My experience with the contract is that I learned that there are many benefits such as easy to solve problems, it helps achieve the target goals or agreed task completions, and back up plans are always helpful in life in a restart needed situation. It helps set up long-term and short-term goals.
