Math 053 – Introduction to Trigonometry with Geometry
Module Five Study Guide
5.1
Read Pages 211 – 217 in MTH 053 TEXTBOOK MATERIALS. Do the practice
exercises and check solutions on page 251.
Do the odd numbered Review Exercises on page 217. Check your answers on page 251.
5.2
Read Pages 219 – 230 in the textbook. Do the practice exercises and check solutions on
page 252.
Do all of the Review Exercises on page 230. Check your answers on page 252.
5.3
Read Pages 233 – 244. Do the practice exercises and check solutions on page 252.
Do all of the Review Exercises on pages 244 – 245. Check your answers on page 252.
Review

Pick up the “Module Five Review Assignment” from the Math 053 drawer. Complete it.
Then bring it to the desk to be graded and recorded.
Test

When you are ready, go to the test desk and ask for Application Test Five. Calculator use
is recommended on the test. Go over your graded test with an instructor. Retesting is
optional. If you retest, your score will be the average of the two test scores.
After completing Module Five, get the “Final Exam Review” out of the Math 053
drawer. This is not a required assignment, but it will help you prepare for the final
exam. Check your answers with those on the back of the final exam review.
