Actually studding the Leadership and Management Theories in the first week was very helpful to us organize our minds plus it was very added value to studding the history of Leadership and Management to know how this scientific has been started and what was the drivers. For Fredrick (1911) Taylor ‘the scientific management theory was a technique that was developed to enhance the efficiency of work processes, The theory centered on the systematic study of people, behavior, and tasks. The core of Taylor’s theory that they followed the technique of breaking the work process into sub-tasks or least possible units to regulate the most efficient method for accomplishing a particular task. Based on my experience in telecommunication sector I would like to discuss the reflection of these Theories on telecommunication sector as I worked in companies still used the scientific management theory and from my point of view this is the bad example and will call it example A and working now in company used different model and from my point of view this is the good example and will call it example B. I will start with example A, I was responsible about big team consist of 30 engineers Definitely the productivity was very high as the roles and responsibilities of each member very define by book, also the relation between the managers and employee was very define, also the processes and interlock between different department was very define, the business divided to very small parts so each employee make very small part so the Efficiency increased the inaccuracy decreases, Cost of production reduced , Less production time But on other hand scientific management create unhealthy business environment as the theory focuses on efficiency where employees viewed as robots to speed up work, the relationship between the management and the employee’s become overly bureaucratic plus it requires huge budget to cover all part system and the end the organization become is expelling the employees as the employees looking forward better business environment. Now we reach to example B the good one from my point of view,Where the business environment is very healthy as there are big spaces of creativity and responsibility for the employees, the relationship between the management and employees is very open and transparent plus the employees used to be multi tasks and multi-talented which reduce budget comparing to the traditional Management Theories
