Your write-up should include:
Terms: smoking OR smoking cessation (how many retrieved),
pregnant OR pregnancy (how many retrieved), nicotine (how many retrieved) AND how many retrieved when
combined); Filters: Clinical Trial, Free full text, published last 10 years, Humans, English, Adult 19-44 years (how many
retrieved when both applied); how many retained for abstract review following title search; how many retained for this
EBP project after abstract review as meeting the design and PICO project criteria.
After the Search Documentation Record:
Copy and paste the History and Search from the Advance Search page, then copy and paste the article citations retrieved
for title review (after terms combined and filters were all applied).
Click on the boxes beside the titles selected for abstract review, then select Summary at the top and click Abstract. This
opens the Citations and Abstracts of the articles you have selected for Abstract review. Review them and if they meet
your design (RCT or other intervention design) and PICO project criteria copy them and add them to your Search
Documentation Record. You may revert back to their citations only by clicking on Summary rather than Abstract.
You may email the Citations to yourself by selecting “Send to” at the top or bottom of the page.
