- The present investigation was carried out on a girl who has been identified with learning disability. She is presently studying at Ananya Learning and Research Centre, a school for dyslexic children in Chennai This girl was brought to this school from the main stream school where she was studying earlier when the teachers and parents found it difficult to teach the child with other children.
- (^) I Amra Fathima, spent two days observing the child in the classroom to obtain a general overview of her Also, a test was done and I used it as a resource for my case study. The following are the conclusions arrived from them:
- (^) Learns best visual and auditory.Very less attention span.• Distracted easily.
- Verbal communication skills are good.
- Impaired reading abilities brought on by boredom. She reads slowly. Syllabicates and read.• Shows interest in math.
- Inter personal skills are good. Very excited to do the worksheets.
- Poor sitting tolerance.Has spatial issues,Her handwriting is illegible and improper pencil grip.⚫
- (^) Occupational therapy sessions went well. She is unable to imagine and visualise about a topic

• STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
I noticed from my observations the child is very attentive and concentrates during his classes. He is behaved well in classes and very active child, slightly impulsive. His handwriting is not neat. He is good in math and spellings but due to his difficulty with handwriting he finds it difficult to read his own work.
