An assessment of potential risks related to a filter project aimed at improving the quality of river saigon. It includes a risk assessment plan, risk mitigation plans, and individual reflections from team members. The document also outlines three filter design solutions: string attached filter, pipeline water filter, and water filter wall located on the river bottom.

In conclusion, we will recapitulate what we have studied through the three design solution filters. We will present in a simplified way to make the understanding easier and how the filters can and will improve the river Saigon quality. The main part about our project is the filter. The filter will be the same in the 3 design solutions. The outer shape of our filter is a cylinder, and the surrounding of the filter will be stainless steel to increase the durability. The filter will have six layers which will be separated by metal mesh sheets. The metal mesh sheets will get smaller toward the end of the filter because the material used will be tinner. The principal material inside the layers will be coarse gravel, fine gravel, Mangan, white quartz sand, Activated carbon and white sand at the end.
The first solution design will be the string attached filter. The benefit aspect about this solution will be first of all the durability, the medium cost fee for the installation and also does not endanger Saigon River fish or modify the river Saigon River flow. But this design solution also presents non beneficial aspects such as hard to build and maintain. The filter rate will also be medium because the filter will be smaller.
The second solution design will be the pipeline water filter. The advantage of this design solution will be the ease of maintaining and collecting garbage in the river. This solution will also have a low impact on the ecosystem and be safe for the workers. But this solution also presents disadvantages such as an expensive cost for building and will have a low filter rate compared to the other two design solutions.
The third solution design will be the water filter wall located on the river bottom. The filter will be located on the bottom of the water so the filter can fill a big amount of water. This design solution takes the advantage from the river pressure in riverbed to maximize the output. The advantage of this design solution is that the filter can fill a big amount of water and this solution will be simple and effective. But this solution also has disadvantages such as an expensive cost to build and it will be hard to construct and maintain. This solution may also affect the river flow because the filter will fill a big amount of water.
Ly Anh Khoa: This project had a significant impact on me. It not only taught me valuable experience on how to manage teamwork responsibly, but it also illustrated a real job in the future where we might confront real projects to make it as efficient as possible. Even though we never have any conflicts in the process while working, but I think not only me but also everyone can realize the importance of teamwork. I also improved my thinking ability, seeing important aspects such as identifying the advantages and disadvantages of the project and must make it to be suitable in society. Besides, I also gained the ability to give presentations, arrange a reasonable time, have responsible and other skills that I have learned a lot from people in team. Nguyen Hoang Long: The experiences I got from this project have been extremely valuable and I will most definitely use them in the future sooner or later. From communicating with members of the team to handle pressure when the deadline is near, all these experiences will be useful for most jobs I would encounter in the future. Even if things mostly went smoothly and according to plan, I could still recognize the lesson from that circumstance is the importance of planning ahead and follow that plan to the end can do wonder to any works team-related or not. The face-to-face presentation assignment also emphasizes to me how important it is to make a good impression on the audience for such a task to make it more successful rather than just follow a strict script. Overall, this course has been very helpful in improving each one of my practical skills for future uses in my engineering career when it is time. Nguyen Minh Quang: First and foremost, the self-evident thing that I found in the course was the advantage of working in a team. I learned that great cooperation is the key to success. Though we have many conflicts along the way, solving all the conflicts is actually a valuable lesson for me in my future work. This course also provides me a great chance to improve my time management skill and presentation skills. I have also been able to reinforce various related skills such as researching skills, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
