This study was carried out because leadership is the most powerful weapon in an organization. Through better leadership, managers can achieve their organizational objectives and increase their productivity. Positive leadership has a tremendous impact on employees and the turnover of the organization. To examine whether employees’ performance is related to the leadership style adopted by the management. It is additionally critical because it will empower the organization to adopt the correct leadership style that will empower them to witness the greatest production from employee performance, hence achieving the organization's objectives.

1- BACKGROUND

In today's competitive environment, leaders play a crucial role in achieving organizational goals and boosting employee performance. Leadership is a key driver of improving production and innovation and is characterized by influential personalities that positively impact job fulfillment and performance. Effective leaders command power effectively and adjust to changing circumstances, such as changing societies and technology. They must create a new mix of competencies to shape their board and create subordinates to meet challenges. Research has shown that diverse leadership styles can affect employee performance, with passive and proactive leadership resulting in higher performance. And if representatives are proactive, the result will be reversed (Allow, Gino & Hofmann, 2011). Understanding how leadership styles affect employee performance is fundamental for businesses to discover great leaders and create effective leadership theories. The significance of leadership style on employee performance cannot be overstated. Successful leadership has the power to motivate and inspire employees, leading to increased productivity and overall success for the organization. A particular approach to leadership style endeavored by any manager in an organization would also affect the organization in a particular way, either positively (high employee’s performance) or negatively (low performance). The leadership style adopted by a manager can significantly impact the inspiration and engagement levels of employees. For illustration, a manager who adopts a transformational leadership style, which centers on inspiring and empowering employees, is more likely to see high levels of performance and innovation within their team. On the other hand, a manager who embraces an
