The Yellow Party holds an advantage because

predominance. The part that wins ends up
having majority of votes. This party has an

2. Explain the likely election outcome in the
gerrymandered map.
The Green party is likely to win with
gerrymandering because the majority of the
districts that won were in the Green Party. They
are in favor of altering the district lines to favor
their party because it changes the outcome of
the votes, ultimately leading them to secure the
election.

  1. Assume the role of either a Green or Yellow party chairperson. State your arguments for or against gerrymandering in your state. A chairperson for the Green party would argue that gerrymandering should be put in place because it is the only thing that is fair. The Yellow Parties chairperson would say that gerrymandering isn’t fair because it puts an unfair advantage against their party and causes disadvantages. I think Gerrymandering is unfair because it does not accurately depict to should win the election and instead skews it to favor one party.
