Notes: The exam will include multiple choice questions but you will have the ability of giving three answers for each question. If you are sure of your answer, you can give it three times. If you are split between more than one answer, you can give up to three different replies. Consider the following example question:
At 9am yesterday morning, the weather was: A. Sunny B. Cloudy but no rain C. Cloudy and rainy D. Snowing
If you strongly believe that it was cloudy with no rain, you can give the answer “B” three times. But if you remember that it rained for part of the morning, but you’re pretty sure that it had stopped by 9am, you could give two “B” answers and one “C” answer. But if all you remember was that it didn’t snow, you could give one “A” answer, one “B” answer, and one “C” answer. If at 9am, the weather was really cloudy with no rain, in the first case you would get three points, in the second case you would get two points, and in the third case you would at least get one point.
