Jacques Necker (30 September 1732 - 9 April 1804) was a French
statesman of Swiss birth and finance minister of Louis XVI, a post
he held in the lead-up to the French Revolution in 1789. He was
forced out of his position due to mem ebers of the royal council to
Louis XVI not agreeing to having him in the council, and
threatening to resign if Necker joined the council.

King Louis XVI
DEFINITION 3
Louis XVI (23 August 1754 - 21 Jan uary 1793) was King of France
and Navarre from 1774 until 1791, aft er which he was
subsequently King of the French from 1791 to 1792, before his
deposition and execution during the F rench Revolution. His ruler
ship saw the worst economic crisis in France, his style of
leadership was not as competent an d strict as his predecessors.
He was viewed as being mediocre w ith his lack of authoritarian
voice and presence, letting the nobl ity self interest guide his
decisions.

The Estates-General (or States-Gen eral) of 1789 () was the first
meeting since 1614 of the French Es tates-General, a general
assembly representing the French e states of the realm: the clergy
(First Estate), the nobles (Second Esta te), and the common people
(Third Estate).The Assembly of Notab les asked King Louis XVI that
he must ask this Estate-General to a ct a legislative power over the
issues of taxation and and loans. Lafay ette asked that it be given
the power like that of the Parliment or the new American congress
in the newly found United states.

commonly known as the Abb Sieys (), was a French Roman
Catholic abb, clergyman and political w riter. He was the voice of
the 3rd estate in the Estates Gener al which was the common
people. Presented the motion during estate general convocation of
1789 of a roll call of registered delegat es. Giving the Third estate
the only legitimate representative b ody in France. Later part of the
coup'd etat that over threw the Dire ctory as a governing body and
placed him and napoleon bonaparte a s part of three main
executives of power to France.
