  2. Find the absolute extrema of the function f (x, y) = x^2 + y^2 − 2 x − 4 y on the region bounded by y = x, y = 3 and x = 0.
  1. Compute a Riemann sum for f (x, y) = x + 2y^2 on the region bounded by 0 ≤ x ≤ 2 and − 1 ≤ y ≤ 1. Use n = 4 and evaluate at the midpoint.
  2. Find the center of mass for the lamina whose area is bounded by x = y^2 and x = 1. The lamina has a density function of ρ(x, y) = y^2 + x + 1.
