Task 1: The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three
types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much. Summarize the
information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons
where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
The chart depicts the average percentage of three varieties of nutrients that is taken in a regular
meal eaten by people in the USA.
Overall, the chart contains three different pie charts each containing the information about
different nutrients ,and the percentage consumption in a four course meal that is
breakfast,lunch,snacks and dinner.

Writing Task 1 - Academic Task 1: The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words. The chart depicts the average percentage of three varieties of nutrients that is taken in a regular meal eaten by people in the USA. Overall, the chart contains three different pie charts each containing the information about different nutrients ,and the percentage consumption in a four course meal that is breakfast,lunch,snacks and dinner.

In dinner, the sodium content is the highest being 43% ,followed by saturated fat being 37% and the lowest being added sugar that is 23%.In sharp contrast the added sugar level being highest in snacks that is 42% ,followed by saturated fat being 21% and the lowest being sodium that is 14%.Clearly ,percentage of consumption level in snacks and dinner is contrasting. In lunch ,the sodium content is the highest being 29% ,followed by saturated fat being 26% and the lowest being added sugar that is 19%.This is exactly the same trend followed in case of dinner.In breakfast,the sodium consumption is the lowest that is 14% .While there is a slight increase in the percentage of consumption of saturated fat in breakfast ,the percentage of added sugar remains same as saturated fat that is 16%.
