Individual Assignment
Assume that you are considering an online purchase. Decide on ONE item that you would
be willing to purchase online. For this item, you will investigate two websites that you
can buy the same product from.Using the customer information on the sites, answer the
following questions for each site. If you never purchase any products online, interview
your friends that had experience online shopping.
1. What do you planning to purchase online? Where to find them online? Which
Website? Please state the name of an E-commerce website in Malaysia or World
Wide. (5marks)
2. How do you purchase them? Explain using picture as well if you need.(5 marks)
3. Do you have to sign- up? What is the step of doing it? Explain. (5 marks)
4. If you were to purchase your item, What forms of payment are accepted? (5 marks)
5. What do you do if you have to return or exchange the item? What is the policy? Is
there a time limit? How do you do this? Are there any fees/charges that the customer
must pay? ( 10 marks)
6. Are there any shipping costs? How much are they? (5 marks)
7. How do they ship your purchases? Using which company? How long the parcel will
arrive at your place?(5 marks)
8. Are they giving notification on arrival date of your purchases?(2.5 marks)
9. After receiving your parcel, are you given an email from the website on discounts or
promotions or sale? Why do you think so? (2.5 marks)
10. Can you stop receiving the emails from the company that giving you such reminder
emails? How. Explain (5marks)

PERCENTAGE : 20%
