ABSTRACT
DESIGN & FABRICATION OF WIRE
MESH BENDING MACHINE FOR
POULTRY FARMS.
Wire mesh has a wide range of application in everyday life, mainly in
domestic and construction sites. One of the major application of wire
mesh is for the construction of poultry farm cages but for this it is
required to bend the mesh to various angles. A huge amount of human
effort is required to bend the mesh by hand. In order to solve this
problem, we introduce a wire mesh bending machine which helps to
bend the mesh in the required angles. This machine mainly aims at
domestic poultry farms for making the cages, also it would be useful
for other domestic users which involves the bending of wire mesh. The
machine can be operated very easily and is very compact. It is also
helpful to reduce the cost of production and saves time. It doesn’t
require any energy sources for its operation. Only initial cost is required
as the machine have very low maintenance cost. Further
improvements can be made to the machine by introducing a hydraulic
mechanism and completely automating the system.
