Purpose of Pyramid Study Guide (PSG) - Answer- to provide information on history and
traditions of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (DST) & to prepare Pyramids for
membership into the org.
Major Goal of The Membership Intake Program - Answer- To Gain from each initiate, a
commitment to the ideals, values, and public service mission of Delta Sigma Theta.
The National Delta Achievement Test - Answer- The official examination of the Sorority.
The test is administered at the end of the Pyramid Preparation Period. The content is
based on extant history and significant information about the organization. Each
Pyramid must also know about the Region and chapter into which she anticipates being
initiated. Administered on Day 8 of the PPP. One retest allowed, if needed will take
place on Day 9.
Mission Statement - Answer- Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an
organization of college educated women committed to constructive development of its
members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.
