CITA340 – Project 2 Deliverable 2
Deliverable 2:
For this deliverable, you will enter data into your tables and create some additional
objects in your database on the SQL Server.
You will do the following:
1. Create a database diagram which includes all of the tables in your database.
2. Enter data into all of your tables. Include a minimum of 10 records per table with
varying data so that you will be able to work with it.
3. Create at least 6 views. These views could be used as a basis for reports from the
database that would be useful to the users of the database (managers, customers,
etc.) At least 3 of the views must contain numeric data and use aggregate
functions (sum, average, etc.)
4. Write a short document that explains the purpose of the report that would be
generated based on each view (the purpose of each view).
Note: The handout “Tips for Working with Databases in SQL Server 2005 Management
Studio” may be useful.
