Upon doing the quiz “What is Your Learning Style” I confirmed what I already suspected
is my preferred style of learning, which is a heavy emphasis on both visual and kinesthetic,
auditory being the less desired style. I’ve always found the method of learning which I use quite
effective and have always gotten good results both in school and academia, as long as I maintain
my interest in what is being taught. I find that both visualizing and actually doing an activity
help me memorize it quickly and easier. Listening not always has the same level of permanent
impact in my memory as the previous listed method, I usually tend to forget the information
within a short period of time. Reflecting on the results of this quiz right now, I believe it would
be interesting to try to include a little bit more of auditory learning style, because some of my
teachers preferred method of teaching focus on in-class spoken lessons using anecdotes and
examples. Memorizing what has been said during class is definitely going to help me out, along
with being true to my roots and taking notes.
