Create and Print a Medical Certificate
This QRG will show you how to create and print medical certificates.
How to create the certificate
1. Navigate to Documentation in the Table of
Contents menu.
Alternatively, on the Workflow page, under
Create Note, choose to select other note.
2. Under Type, select the appropriate option
Carer’s Certif icate, Certificate of
Attendance or Medical Certificate.
3. Under Template, select Medical
Certificate.
4. Choose Ok
5. This will bring up the Medical / Carers
certificate template.
6. If you need to create a medical certificate,
delete the Carers section by clicking the X
beside the heading, or vice versa.
7. You will need to update the text as
appropriate.
8. When complete, choose to Save or Sign
and Submit.
To print the certificate
1. From the Workflow page, navigate to
Documents. Select the document and
then click print.

Create and Print a Medical Certificate

This QRG will show you how to create and print medical certificates.

How to create the certificate

  1. Navigate to Documentation in the Table of Contents menu. Alternatively, on the Workflow page, under Create Note, choose to select other note.
  2. Under Type, select the appropriate option
    • Carer’s Certificate, Certificate of Attendance or Medical Certificate.
  3. Under Template, select Medical Certificate.
  4. Choose Ok
    1. This will bring up the Medical / Carers certificate template.
    2. If you need to create a medical certificate, delete the Carers section by clicking the X beside the heading, or vice versa.
    3. You will need to update the text as appropriate.
    4. When complete, choose to Save or Sign and Submit.

To print the certificate

  1. From the Workflow page, navigate to Documents. Select the document and then click print.

  1. This will bring up the Medical record Request box.
  2. Choose the appropriate template and purpose from the dropdown.
  3. The Associated Destination radio button is selected by default
  4. This does not allow available devices to be displayed. Change to Device Selected to be able to select printer devices 6. Click on next to device, which opens to Outpatient Destination box 1. Select other outpatient devices 2. Click on unknown which populates the list of printers available. Scan the barcode twice which will select the corresponding printer - OR view the printer name on the WOW/computer and select the printer manually from the list 3. Click on the grey highlighted printer which will then turn to blue and then click OK 7. Once OK is selected it will bring up the Medical Record Request box with the selected printer and click send which will
