CMPS 1023 - LAB EXERCISE - POWERPOINT
Summer 2008 – Due Thursday, June 26
Create a 4 slide Power Point Presentation on the topic of your choice.
1. On the cover sheet slide, type your name in the first box and “Test” in the second.
Change the font of your name to something different.
2. Add a Slide Design. Do not select a design with a dark background. Change the color of
your name to a color stands out really well on the design.
3. Insert a second slide that contains bullets on one half and graphics on the other.
4. Add a clip art in the graphics side and enlarge it to fill about ¾ of the graphics box.
5. Add 3 bullet statements of your choice on the text side.
6. Add a text box under your graphics and type a caption centered under the art. Enlarge
the font to size 32.
7. Add a word art with your name someplace on the second slide.
8. Add a 2-word title to the top of slide 2. Change the font style and size of the first word,
leaving the second word as is.
9. Add a third slide of a different Slide Layout. Change the Slide Design for this slide only.
10. Add both text and either a table or a graph. Use font style, color, and sizes different
from slide 2.
10. Add two different animations on your choice of slides.
11. Add a conclusion slide. Change the background to a simple single color.
12. Include an image that animates into the slide. Include a text box with your name.
13. Include a word art of your name.
11. Print your slides in 2 per page format.

Your work will not be graded until you have turned in both the hard copy and the email copy.
