My name is María, I am 38 years old, and I am a publicist. Ten years ago, I had to move to another city due to the lack of job opportunities where I lived. I come to my first day of work, of course, I managed, but I was very discreet to make an excellent first impression on my colleagues. Or colleagues, because it turned out that my team consisted of only women, six to be more exact. At first, I felt something strange in the environment that did not make me feel very comfortable, but I put it down to my nerves from the first day. As I arrived early, my boss's secretary told me that she was doing it to make others look bad and make them look irresponsible and mediocre. In all the time I was working there, I was only late once. My work team applied the law office to me for a week, arguing that they had lost a significant account due to my delay. It was a lie.

On another occasion, we were asked to run a local government project to help one of the most disadvantaged sectors, the prostitutes. After that episode, I submitted my resignation. For a year, I did not work on anything, not even look for it. Just thinking about going back into a company caused me anxiety and anxiety attacks. I even suffered from agoraphobia; I couldn't be in open places and with many people. Now feel much better; I went to therapy with an excellent psychologist who told me that what they had done to me in that job was known as mobbing.
