OMG! FML! (Oh My goodness! F@#% my life!)
These might be your first thoughts if you - for real - were to find yourself in the following imaginary scenario. Now to be sure this can't happen -- this is just a thought experiment.
The Scenario: You are being held captive by an evil scientist. The evil scientist plans to destroy one area of your brain and then set you free. You get to choose the area. Which brain area would you choose and why? Be sure to be very specific in your selection of an area and make sure that you refer to particular page numbers from the text when responding. You should be very clear as to the particular types of problems you would expect to experience. Finally elaborate on why and how you expect to be able to deal with these problems effectively.
