Reader: You are a psychiatrist analyzing Holden Caulfield. Holden is recounting his issues with dropping out of schools, lack of friends, and negative views on life. You need to determine the root of his problems, and come up with a solution to help him. As you read, you will take notes in this ledger. You will receive a different ledger for each set of chapters. Is Holden A Reliable Witness to His Own Past? When a story is told in 1st^ person, we rely on the narrator to tell us the truth. However, we are limited to seeing the world from only one character's perspective. Can we rely on Holden to paint us the most accurate picture?
